As nRF9160 doesn't have a bluetooth radio, we should not pull the same dependencies as nRF52, thus ensure these dependencies are only added for nrf5x families

makefiles: Replace which with command -v
...
As the POSIX documentation[1] of `command -v` guarantees that on error
there will be no output (and there will be output in the other cases),
the tests in Makefiles were simplified to test for output equality to
the empty string.
Redirects swallowing error outputs were removed, as the command produces
no error output there (as recommended at [2]).
Existing uses of `command` are simplified as well.

makefiles: Sort >/dev/null and 2>&1
...
Redirecting `2>&1 >/dev/null` moves stderr to stdout first and then
stdout to /dev/null; when checking for command existence or otherwise
silencing output, this is usually not desired (but only starts producing
errors when the actual command fails, which is often not tested).

If DEVELHELP is not set `LOCK_TCPIP_CORE()`/`UNLOCK_TCPIP_CORE()`
are not defined, leading to a build failure.
Defining them to no-op leads to a run-time segmentation fault, so
better always use those functions.

pkg/nimble/autoconn: stop scan/adv on NETIF_ABORT_SLAVE
...
When a connection is aborted and the node in question is a slave
then it can be advertising/scanning at the time. The incoming
event triggers the state to be changed to IDLE but ongoing adv/scan
which will cause 'nimble_netif_conn_start_adv' to fail to allocate
a handle as the netif will still be busy. Therefore when
stop scan/stop before switching the state.

lwip_sock: Make sock_tcp_read return data if available
...
When reading from the socket with `sock_tcp_read()` it would only return
data from at most one internal connection buffer, even if the buffer
passed to `sock_tcp_read()` is larger and there is more data available
in the connection. This patch makes `sock_tcp_read` process all the
available data so long as there's more data to read available
immediately.

lwip_sock: Fix computation of last_offset on partial reads.
...
lwip receives network buffers that are made available to lwip_sock_tcp
calling `netconn_recv_tcp_pbuf`. The size of these buffers depends on
the size of the network packets. An application calling `sock_tcp_read`
can pass any arbitrary buffer size to read (copy) from these internal
network buffers, which may be smaller. lwip_sock_tcp keeps around the
last network buffer (`struct pbuf last_buf`) and the offset into this
buffer already consumed by the application (`last_offset`).
However, when multiple application reads from the same `pbuf` buffer
occur, the `last_offset` must be updated incrementing it. The code had
a bug that would work only when `last_offset` was either 0 (no previous
partial read) or when the current read was consuming all the remaining
data (when `buf_len == copylen`).
This patch fixes the issue an allows multiple reads from the same
buffer.

Netifs without link status support will keep sending discover
messages with increasing time between.
Netifs that support link status will wait for the link to be up,
and then start sending.
Netifs that support link status but send no link status events
will continue to not work (unless link status is up from the
first check when setting it up).

Set link state correctly in lwIP for interfaces that support
the NETOPT_LINK option. Interfaces that do not support it
(like tap for native arch) remain up all the time.
Netdevs that support NETOPT_LINK but do not send NETDEV_EVENT_LINK_UP/DOWN
events will end up with a mismatched link state - but DHCP would
already not start for them either.
Use netifapi to signal lwIP to do the work in its own thread.

Lists state, link type, v4/v6 addresses.
Currently read-only.
Using lwIP debug system to print addresses, to limit dependencies
and work with dual stack setup. Most other code seems to only
allow either v4 or v6 networking. For that to compile I
had to change the `SZT_F` format string due to this error:

```
Switching to the lwIP default format string here.
Outputs the following on my ESP32 board with Ethernet,
when both v4 and v6 are enabled in examples/paho-mqtt:

pkg/hacl: switch upstream to backup copy

The https://github.com/mitls/hacl-c repo was deleted.
Getting the new upstream (https://github.com/project-everest/hacl-star )
to work nicely as a package requires some non-trivial work and in the
meantime all CI jobs will fail.
As a short-term solution, switch the upstream to a backup version of
the original repository.

Using a lower priority than of the main thread would make
the LVGL thread to preempt the main thread, for example,
if you do a `xtimer_msleep(200);` on the main thread
giving any chance for the LVGL thread to preempt it
while working with LVGL on the main thread would
make the CPU crash.
To reproduce the bug just create various widgets, and fill
them with data from a sensor that "waits" for data to be ready.

Replace direct accesses to sched_active_thread and sched_active_pid with
the helper functions thread_getpid() and thread_get_active(). This serves
two purposes:
1. It makes accidental writes to those variable from outside core less likely.
2. Casting off the volatile qualifier is now well contained to those two
functions

The FAT file system operates on sectors (pages), so use the new
mtd_write_page() and mtd_read_page() functions.
This also avoids the wrap-around after reading/writing past 4 GiB.

With the new version some OpenWSN modules are optional:
- openwsn_cjoin (and therefore opewnsn_coap)
- openwsn_6lo_fragmentation
- openwsn_icmpv6echo
- openwsn_crypto
- openwsn_udp (optional but kept as default)
New optional modules have been added:
- openwsn_iee802154e_security (link layer security)
- openwsn_adaptive_msf (MSF dynamic slot allocation)
Openvisualizer needs to be updated to be compatible with the new
version.

The timeout parameter for nimble_netif_connect() is given in ms

With PR #14349 the double stack mode for lwIP was activated. The ATWINC15x0 driver was provided before the changes in PR #14349 but merged after that. Therefore, the changes for the driver were not taken into account anymore and have to be applied accordingly.

drivers/sdcard_spi: add auto_init_storage to DEFAULT_MODULE
...
sdcard_spi is the only driver in auto_init_storage and was previously
pulled in by fatsfs (because it's used on SD cards)
It does however make much more sense if the SD card driver pulls that in
so other file systems can be used on SD card too.

gnrc_nettype: indirect NETTYPE definition via pseudo-modules

Instead of making a NETTYPE definition dependent on an implementation
module, this change makes it dependent on a pseudo-module for each
specific NETTYPE and makes the respective implementation modules
dependent on it.
This has two advantages:
- one does not need include the whole implementation module to
subscribe to a NETTYPE for testing or to provide an alternative
implementation
- A lot of circular dependencies related to GNRC could be untangled.
E.g. the only reason `gnrc_icmpv6` needs the `gnrc_ipv6` is because it
uses `GNRC_NETTYPE_IPV6` to search for the IPv6 header in an ICMPv6
when demultiplexing an ICMPv6 header.
This change does not resolve these dependencies or include usages where
needed. The only dependency change is the addition of the
pseudo-modules to the implementation modules.

Previously, TimerInit() explicitly set some values of the xtimer truct
to "0". This commit changes it to use a static struct initializer
`(xtimer_t){0}`. The advantage is that now this is independent of the
actual xtimer structure.
Now this also resets the remaining xtimer fields, but they're properly
re-populated elsewhere (by using xtimer_set_msg()).

pkg/nanopb: fix for proto files with includes
...
Proto files can include other proto files.
E.g. nanopb comes with a `nanopb.proto` include that contains some
nanopb-specific extensions.
This patch makes it possible to include this file as well as specifying
additional proto include folders.
I added the include to `simple.proto` so it gets exercised by the test.

Add a fucntion to expose the internal `struct tm` that is populated
with the GPS date.
This allows for easy syncing the RTC with the GPS time without having
to convert back and forth between `struct tm` and `time_t`.

Rely on file creation and dependencies instead of .PHONY targets.
Files will be rebuilt when changing version as the main `Makefile` will
have been updated. All steps are re-done on version change.
When deleting patches, the '.prepare' step should be redone thanks
to the included 'patch-dep.inc' file (TODO TEST ME).
Implementation in order:
* '.git': means the repository has been cloned.
* '.git-downloaded': Fetches the wanted version
* '.git-prepared': will clean checkout the version and apply patches

Either the sock is provided with `sock_*_send()` or not. In the first
case the indirection is not necessary, and in the second we need to
delete the created `conn` within `lwip_sock_send()` anyway, so returning

I basically didn't work on `emb6` since 2016 and adapting to the newest
version would mean some major overhaul. However, the development at
their end seems to be stalled [since March 2018][emb6-develop] as well.
All this speaks for deprecating this package.

Another solution was to use COMP='...' but could there could still have

The correct way to overrride the malloc family of functions in newlib-nano is
to provide the *_r (reentrant) variants. Newlib implements the "normal"
functions on top of these (see the newlib source code). Also, internally it calls
the *_r functions when allocating buffers.
If only the "normal" non-reentrant functions are provided this will mean that
some of the code will still use the vanilla newlib allocator. Furthermore, if
one uses the whole heap as a pool for TLSF then the system may in the best case
crash as there is no enough memory for its internall allocations or in the worst
case function eratically (this depends on how the heap reserved, there is an
upcomming series of commits in that direction).
This commit splits the handling between newlib and native. It also prepares the
ground for future work on the pool initialization.
Right now I could only test this in ARM and native and I cannot ensure it will
work on other platforms. Replacing the system's memory allocator is not something
that can be taken lightly and will inevitably require diving into the depths of
the libc. Therefore I would say that using TLSF as a system wide allocator is ATM
supported officially only on those plaftorms.
Testing:
Aside from reading the newlib sources, you can see the issue in a live system
using the debugger.
Compile any example (with or without tlsf-malloc), grab a debugger and place
a breakpoint in sbrk and _sbrk_r. Doing a backtrace will reveal it gets called
by _malloc_r.

- oonf_api has not been updated in 6 years, it's stil at 0.3.0
from 2013.
- tests were never integrated into CI
- With NHDP the only upstream user of the package is deprecated.
- Downstream users would rather prefer a less vintage version of the libraray.

pkg/oonf_api: Use MRI script to combine archives.

The OONF package is combining multiple ".a" file into a single archive. The
way it was being done involved creating and changing directories, unpacking
the original archives and repacking them into a combined one.
Theis has a couple of issues:
- It is untidy and wasteful.
- It breaks when thin archives are enabled, as a thin archive cannot be
unpacked.
This commit uses a MRI script to do the combining step. It works both with
and without thin archives and is cleaner overall.
An issue that remains to be soved is that make is calling itself to create the
archive, as the PARTIAL_ARCHIVES are not known before hand. This is hacky. It
can be solved but it is a subject for another PR.

There is no reason why this package would need tlsf. Using tlsf as
system malloc is not known to work in all platforms.
With this patch CCN-Lite will use the default malloc provided by the
target's C library.

pkg/nordic_softdevice_ble: reset memory in the .hex file

softdevice needs the memory at 0x2000 to be initialized to 0xffffffff
according to #5893 and testing. However, the addresses [0x8bc, 0x3000[ are not
set in softdevice.hex.
So use a modified hex file with all the memory set to 0xff as it is the rom
reset value anyway.
This change updates the `.hex` file instead on relying on erasing the
memory.

The internal Openthread config file is not needed for the contrib
files, since it only includes internal OpenThread configuration
(use by the Openthread build system). Under certain cases some
macros defined in Openthread collide with RIOT internals or vendor
headers. So it's important to keep dependencies consistent.

After removing the default definitions of lua module tables and table
lengths (see lua_builtin.h) the symbols have been left undefined, which
results in them getting an address of NULL and a crash if there are no
user symbols and the user attempts a "require".
This patch checks the address of the table length variable and fails the
module search function of the table is not set (i.e. it behaves as if the
table was empty.)

In function `_semtech_loramac_send` parameter `payload` can be NULL (that the
case when scheduling an immediate TX, line 726). As DEBUG macro use printf,

c25519: Initial support for c25519 package

c25519[1] is a library optimized for embedded applications handling ed25519
signing and x25519 crypto. It uses significantly less memory and flash
compared to TweetNaCl and is significantly faster when used on a
samr21-xpro

The tinydtls repository has moved from Eclipse Gerrit to GitHub [1].
PKG_URL now points to the new direction and PKG_VERSION was updated

[tinydtls] Makefile.include: fixed GNRC vs. posix_sockets

When WITH_RIOT_GNRC is set in CFLAGS, tinydtls will use a more
compact address representation based on ipv6_addr_t instead of
POSIX-style sockaddr_in6 to identify sessions (cf. struct session_t).
When posix_sockets are used (as in libcoap, e.g.), the POSIX
address representation should be selected automatically for
consistency. This change adds -DWITH_RIOT_GNRC to CFLAGS only
when the module posix_sockets is not selected.

sys/posix: make posix module provide only headers.

The build system contains several instances of
INCLUDES += -I$(RIOTBASE)/sys/posix/include
This is bypassing the module management system, by directly accesing
headers without depending on a module. The module is the posix module.
That line is also added when one of the posix_* modules is requested.
According to the docs, the posix module provides headers only, but in
reality there is also inet.c.
This patch:
- Moves `inet.c` into `posix_inet`, leaving `posix` as a headers-only
module.
- Rename `posix` as `posix_headers` to make it clear the module only
includes headers.
- Makes `posix_*` modules depend on `posix_headers`, thus removing the
explicit `INCLUDES+=...` in `sys/Makefile.include`.
- Ocurrences of `INCLUDES+=...` are replaced by an explicit dependency
on `posix_headers`.
