I think the intention was that SUIT_VENDOR_DOMAIN gets set to
$(SUIT_VENDOR) so it can be overwritten by the build system.
However, no such code was in place yet.
Individual files need to be converted to uf2 format, targets
flashing individual slots or the bootloader will work:
- riotboot/flash-slot%
- riotboot/flash-bootloader
'flash' also works by flashing both the bootloader and slot0
independently.
But not targets flashing combined/extended versions since conversion
of the blob is not possible with the uf2conv.py script.
This is not so much an update (riot-wrappers stays at the same commit,
riot-sys just advances by one that re-enables an optional dependency,
but of course third party crates are updated) but more reflects the
switch from using released crates to git versions.
This makes it easier for all maintainers to adjust to C-nonbreaking but
Rust-breaking API changes, as regular `cargo update` steps don't require
a crates.io release any more.
`rtt_get_counter()` already waits for syncbusy before reading the time,
but we also have to do this in RTC mode (`rtc_get_time()`) to avoid
reading old values.
Thus, always wait for syncbusy to clear when accessing the COUNT register.
When doing a `make debug` on a board with riotboot bootloader, the original
(non-offset) elf file gets selected.
This causes all ROM addresses to be at the wrong offset, leading to strange
debug behavior.
Set `DEBUG_ELFFILE` to the .elf file that already accounts for the bootloader
offset so the debugger gets the correct addresses.
If a socket is created we must also call sock_udp_recv() on it as
otherwise messages will get stuck in it's queue until the socket is
closed (which might be never).
If applications only want to send without receiving, they must use
sock_udp_send().
If there are still messages in the mbox when gnrc_netreg_unregister()
is called, we must release the associated pktbuf snips, otherwise
they are leaked away forever.
E.g. `sock_udp_close()` was called without receiving all messages with
`sock_udp_recv()`.
