fa4447241f sock_dns: make sock_dns_query() return the length of the address 
The implementation already did that, now also reflect this in the
documentation.

1de14931b8 sock_dns: use the same buffer for request & reply 
Saving RAM is more important than saving a few cycles
used by re-creating the request buffer in the error case.

Also reduce the size of the buffer to 128 bytes.
If we are just requesting the AAAA record it is unlikely
for the reply to take up the maximum size of 512 bytes.

We were already placing restrictions on the domain name length,
those are now actually a bit more relaxed (112 bytes instead of 64)

367f19d390 shell/gnrc_icmpv6_echo: don't do DNS lookup for plain IP 
When using ping6 with an IP address, don't do a DNS lookup.
Hostnames can't contain ':', so use that to tell them apart
from plain IP addressees.

sock_async: include sock_async_ctx.h before sock-types 
This way, the sock-types can use the sock_async_ctx_t type in their
definition without including `sock_async_ctx.h` (potentially creating
further cyclic includes).

d26355fbb4 sock_async_event: fix race-condition 
If a new event is fired during the execution of the event callback,
`event->type` might change. However as `event->type` is set to 0 after
the execution of the callback, that leads to it being 0 on the next
round of the event handler's execution, leading in the event getting
lost.

2ed0dd7405 sys/newlib: enable multiple heaps in _sbrk_r 
Some MCUs have non-continuous memory regions.
To support those, iterate over all available memory regions
and allocate the first region that fits.

4445faaa3a core/shed: remove not needed bitarithm include add missing 
bitarithm.h is not needed for the interface of shed but may cause conflicts
due to different definitions of SETBIT and CLRBIT

common implementations are: (value, offset) xor (value, mask) bitarithm
implements the later

frac.c and nrf52/usbdev.c use bitarithm.h but where missing the include

sam0/rtt.c defined a bit using mask from bitarithm,
changed that to the soulution used in sam0/rtc.c

763ce7a9bf USB VID/PID: Move check inside usb.h include guards 
As the whitelist define can be set per compilation unit in all
legitimate cases, the checks do not need to be run on every single usb.h
inclusion. This is done for two reaons:

* It is sufficient -- if any user C file includes usb.h, there's already
  a good chance that the user is doing something USB related manualy.
  (And conversely, the existing examples with boards that happen to pull
  in CDC-ACM or CDC-ECM do not include usb.h from an example C file).

* Defining the USB_H_USER_IS_RIOT around legitimate uses of the header
  by other headers would allow accidental sidestepping: If a user
  includes a legitimate usb.h using header (say, board.h) and just
  forgets to include usb.h on their own, their application that'd mess
  with USB would still work as usb.h is transitively included, and the
  check for custom includes does not trigger.

f35ce9cd8e USB VID/PID: Allow default VID/PID from inside RIOT code 
A new define, USB_H_USER_IS_RIOT_INTERNAL, is defined that may only be
set from within RIOT's own compilation units that deem themselves
standard RIOT peripherals. If all usb.h users in a program match that
requirement, a default VID/PID pair is set.

Due to the new composite check, the individual checks for VID/PID being
set become moot and are removed.
